How To: Roll Your Rollercam

There’s a right way, a messy way, and a wrong way to store your Rollercams®. We’ve perfected the best way to roll your Rollercam® and keep your gear bag nice and tidy.

Here’s how we wind our cam straps at Rollercam®.

Start by taking your cam strap and slide your fingers along the webbing until you reach the end of your strap. Hot Tip: Practice with a 3’ strap for best learning!

When you reach the end of your strap, feed the end’s webbing back through the bottom of your Rollercam®. Hot Tip: You may want to watch the video at the bottom to see exactly where to feed it through.

Leave enough of a “tail” on the strap to wrap background the rolled strap. Hot Tip: You may want to roll up your strap before you begin so you can get a visual estimate of how long of a tail to leave.

Once you find the end of your loop, you can begin rolling. As you roll, check for any wear on the strap as we always recommend checking for fraying or wear to ensure optimal security when using Rollercams®.

With the webbing of the strap rolled up, take the end/”tail” and wrap it around the roll, then cinch it through the cam.

As we say, once you roll with Rollercam®, you’ll never go back to the way it was before.
