The Lower Deschutes offers one of the cleanest bikerafting loops out there — pedal 10 miles upstream on a mellow rail-grade trail, camp at Fall Canyon, then paddle back through Class II-III whitewater the next morning. The route eliminates shuttle logistics entirely: you start and finish at Deschutes River State Recreation Area, riding above the river so you can scout the rapids as you go.
